Our Mission

HorseFriends is a Christian ministry whose mission is to help individuals with disabilities, regardless of their religious beliefs, to
experience joy and strength through horses in a therapeutic riding program. We provide our services FREE of charge. Our goal at HorseFriends is to design a specific curriculum, horse interactions, and a support format to address the difficulties and offer solutions to our participants’ life challenges. Our vision: Through the blessings of Christ, we are the possibility for all to reach their greatest potential. We are registered with the IRS as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, and all gifts are tax-deductible.

HorseFriends is located at 5920 Khaki Place in Summerfield, NC. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve more participants in a home of our own. Our first classes at the new HorseFriends Farm will begin in September 2018.

We invite you to be a part of the HorseFriends ministry. We never charge our clients, and we never take a salary. Donations go directly to the needs of the horses and the program. We need your prayers, your volunteer time, and your financial gifts. Please contact us with your questions or your interest: info@HorseFriendsNC.org
